To My Friends

I recently received an email from a good friend. It was very personal and to the point for my life right now so I thought I would share it..

Time passes.
Life happens.
Distance separates.
Children grow up.
Jobs come and go. (especially at Hackley campus.)
Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't do what they're supposed to do.
Hearts break.
Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
Careers end, BUT

Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you. A girlfriend is never farther away than needing her can reach.

When you walk through that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself. the women in your life are on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.

Sometimes, they will break the rules and walk beside you or just come in and carry you out.

I just want to say thanks to all my friends who have stepped up to the plate and swung the bat for me and let me know without saying much how they would be willing to help. I would not be getting through my life right now without all of you.

All I can say is THANKS to each and every one of you. Know that I mean it with all I can muster.

Trisha, So sorry about your dad. Losing a parent is one of the hardest things to do, also, a beautiful thing. Your dad went through a hell of a time and when he new that you and your mom would be okay, he left you for a far greater journey. I am sorry! If you need anything, call me! Love you!
