tree house. They ran inside to get flashlights, (even though it was day time) and were just acting kind of goofy (more than usual for them), so I decided to wander over and see what they were up too.
They were fascinated by the way the webs were wrapped around and around the things that were caught in it. They looked but they could not find the spider.
This pic just shows how big the web really was. Then they started asking spider questions like how long did it take the spider to make that. When would the spider actually eat those things caught in the web and where is the spider at? Since I am a spider expert (University of MOM) I of course, had all the answers they needed. At least it satisfied them for a while..
This one is kind of hard to see, but below the web in that square portion is another huge web, or a continuation of the same one. I would have liked to have seen the spider that made it. The boys watched for it for a while, but then moved on to other things.

i hate spiders almost as much as i hate snakes..you are quite a mom to get that close to them...it is kinda cool how a spider came down and bit tobey so we could have a cool movie!!!! love ya
Spiders gross me out, I would have had to get out of there, or I would have wrecked the web. yuck.
