Do you need Kleenex? Rob, Sarah and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert last night at the Van Andel Arena..
This "local" (lame) band opened up for him first. then came Leann Rimes. She was really good. It doesn't beat Sugarland from the last time we saw Kenny though.
Our seats were good. On the side of the stage right even with the front of the stage. I had such a good view. It was much better than the nosebleed section we had last time. By nosebleed I mean I could practically touch the roof of the arena.
Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland was there, came up on stage, sang "stay", that song they've been winning awards for, and a chimed in on a few others with Kenny. Sarah and I would like to start a rumor that the two of them are dating. Otherwise why should she just be in town to "visit" like Kenny says. Or just "drop by". You just don't "drop by" Grand Rapids. Although if Kenny
and I were on a first name basis I think I probably would have to just because I could. They were looking at each other with "bedroom eyes" like Sarah put it and we all know what that means. ...
It was a good show. The seats were packed. I would definately go back..
